Embroidery

Lucy was trained at the Royal School of Needlework which is steeped in history. Established in 1872, women first applying to do an apprenticeship at the School needed a reference from their vicar! Among other prestigious commissions, the School is famous for embroidering the Queen’s coronation robe.

Each handbag, or piece of artwork, is the end result of meticulous design work, and the embroidery is executed with fine precision. Lucy then carefully makes up the bags and packages them in a luxury presentation box.
