SILVER CLUTCH BAG

This clutch bag is inspired by images of sealife and magical coral reefs, as well as vintage embroidered fashion.

The main body of the bag was created by weaving patterns through a coral-coloured net with a fine silver passing thread. The net was then applied over antique cloth of silver, and the various flower shapes were then stitched on top using leather kid, beads and silver and gold threads.

The stunning scallop clasp is mainly worked in a silver thread called bright check which is cut and applied like beads. The clasp also features silver pearl purl thread and crystal stones.

This bag took 60 hours to design, embroider and make up.
